A new Penrose practice is coming to Walworth

Good news for Walworth. We are building a new Penrose practice at Pasley Park, in SE17, and it is set to open in early 2027.
It is only about five minutes from our current site, but it will be a real step up. A larger, more modern surgery, with more consulting rooms and accessible space. That means more appointments, and room for new services closer to home, including community clinics and visiting specialist care. We are building it to high environmental standards too, so it is kinder to the planet as well as easier to use.
Like all our practices, it will offer the full range of NHS GP care, with the same teams of GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other clinicians, and the same welcome to everyone living locally.
"More rooms means more appointments, plainly. We are building for the next decade of Walworth, not just for today," says Karan Kalucha, Operations Director.
Nothing changes for now. Your registration and your care continue exactly as they are until the new surgery opens, and we will share more, including how to register, closer to the time.
If you are not yet with us, you do not need to wait for the new building. You can find and register with any of our eight current practices today.
