Life at Penrose

What it’s like to work here

We are a forward-thinking team who care about giving our patients high-quality, personal care. You will join one of our site-based teams and become part of the wider Penrose family, with a real sense of shared purpose and support across the group.

We work in multidisciplinary teams, bringing together GPs, nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, paramedics, mental health practitioners and our non-clinical colleagues, so patients are seen faster by the right person, and so no one carries the load alone.

How we work

Supported to focus where you add the most value

Our teams are backed by central, professional functions that take on much of the operational and administrative work. This is designed to protect time and headspace, particularly for clinicians, so people can focus on care.

Operating at scale brings real benefits too: shared learning, stronger systems, communities of practice, and the ability to invest in training and development across the group, while keeping care local.

Benefits that support your life, not just your role.

Because care starts with the people who deliver it. Tap any item to see more.

Culture

We love to have a bit of fun

Life at Penrose is not all work. Our teams have taken part in a bake-off, a steps challenge, a pub quiz and a fundraising round, enjoyed ice cream from our regular visiting van, shared surprise treats, and taken proper time to celebrate the summer. These are some of the small things that make this a good place to be.

Inclusive hiring

Fair and accessible for everyone

We are Disability Confident Committed. We want our process to be fair and accessible, so if you need adjustments at any stage, just tell us. This might mean a different interview format, extra time for assessments, or support with access needs. If you have a disability and meet all the minimum criteria for a role, we will guarantee you an interview.

Find a role that fits your future

We're always looking for people who care about patients, communities, and their own development. All our open roles are listed below.
